Well we are now on week 13, just over 1/3 of the way through the year and we have almost completed the metal work for the running gear,
Rear Brake bar is complete and primed with Red Oxide,

This Blog is dedicated to the students on the BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering course at Bradford College. The idea behind the Blog is to record the work, discussions, ideas and manufacturing techniques that are used to make a Toylander vehicle. Most of the detailed parts have been supplied by Richard at Real Life Toys, Toylander. Other parts will be made by students in the workshop at college. Details will be updated so students can comment & get feedback on work.

Students Progress - Nov 2012
18-11-12 The students are now well on with the project, we have made approx. 50% of the bodywork parts and about 60% of the metalwork. Students have also decided on how they could develop certain parts/functions of the vehicle as their BTEC "Project Unit", these include ;-
